***𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢 – 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘***

Hello everyone. Just a few things to let you all know about before the day.

Please screenshot your QR code prior to coming in to the event. This avoids any possible 4G issues as there’ll be a lot of folk around at the time and may cause network providers problems.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 (𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬-𝟭𝟲:𝟯𝟬)

At the day event, we will have 2 separate queues. One will be for early bird holders and the other will be for day/night holders.

Once you are in, you will get given your 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬. When the initial influx of festival goers have been scanned in, the comperes will announce the evening ticket desk is open and evening wrist bands can be issued through out the day to help ease busy queues in the evening. Once this is open, 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 and all rush there at the same time as you’ll have a good few hours to collect it before the day event finishes up.

𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 (𝟭𝟴:𝟯𝟬-𝟬𝟬:𝟬𝟬)

At the evening event, we will again have 2 queues. One will be for folk who already have their wristbands after collecting at the day event, the other will be for folk who hold evening tickets only.

Here are the times each band is playing on Friday. These gigs are all FREE ENTRY. The gigs at Mareel and the Lerwick Legion are for all ages.

The count down to the first ever Rising North Music Festival is on. We can’t wait for the doors at Clickimin to open and welcome you to our first ever event. We have a few exciting announcements coming over the course of the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled on here for updates.

Over 2000 unique visitors & 12000 hits on our website in under 1 hour.

Within minutes, every ticket was accounted for.

People who managed to get tickets around 6.15 & 6.30 is because the baskets held tickets for 15 minutes. Tickets not checked out within that timescale were automatically put back up for sale.

Details for the Friday and Sunday events will follow in the coming weeks.

Rising North Committee

Wow! Just over 1 minute and all Early Bird Tickets were sold!

Not to worry though, the general ticket sales are available next Friday (5th of April) where over 1000 additional tickets will be available.

Time for the news everyones been waiting for..

𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵

The first tickets up for grabs are the early bird tickets which will be sold at a discounted price. They will also be the 𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 tickets that gain you entry to both the day time 𝘼𝙣𝙙 the evening event. As the early bird tickets include the evening event, they will be 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝟭𝟲+. They’re being sold at a limited quantity, so be quick to avoid disappointment. They will be available from our website on Friday the 29th of March from 6PM onwards. They are limited to 4 per sale.

***Early bird tickets only cover the Saturday main event, Saturday is the only ticketed event***

We are delighted to announce that Sound Acoustics will be supplying the PA, Monitors, and Front of House Mixing desk for the Main stage at the Clickimin Centre.

Sound Acoustics are no strangers to Shetland and provided the PA when KT Tunstall visited the Clickimin back in 2016, they also work regularly with big name acts including, Ed Sheeran, Texas, Tom Jones, Ocean Colour Scene, The Pixies and many others.
